Online Running Class Bookings
Ā The class is designed for runners, but anyone can join in and still gain the benefits of improving mobility, strength and movement skills. These are the aims of every class:
-Reduce running injury risk factors
-Improve your running resilience
-Improve running biomechanics
-Reduce age related declines in running performance
-Develop a consistent approach to running conditioning
Every class is different each week but focusing on the aims above broken into a warm up, movement skills, strength, running drills, HIIT, plyometrics and a cool down.
Am I suitable for this class?
This class is designed to help ALL runners. You are encouraged to work at your own pace and ensure you work within your CURRENT capabilities and improving your level of capability as you attend each class. Those with some experience of Pilates, boot camps, HIIT sessions and gym classes will find the class easier to start with.
Tuition is provided throughout the class reinforcing key movements and exercises with a strong focus on technique and understanding the purpose of every exercise and how each exercises relates to running.
The class focuses heavily on improving your understanding of why we need to incorporate the exercises into our weekly routine, including the latest research. EVERY exercise is designed to improve your running, no exercise wastage!
Once you book online you will receive an email (make sure you type the correct one!) with either a link to join the live class. Shortly after each class, you will receive an email with the recording which is available for 7 days.
Below is a full list of all the equipment you will ever need: -
-Non slip mat
-A chair
-A thick book to stand on
-A hand weight or kettlebell
-A small resistance loop
-A long resistance band
Class Attendances
It is your responsibility to provide your exact details in order that Blizard Physiotherapy Limited can send you an automated email confirmation. If you do not receive your email confirmation, in the first instance check your junk folder.
Once you have paid for your class you are not entitled to a refund or credit. You will not be entitled to a refund in the following common circumstances:
1) If you miss the class due to late arrival
2) Due to a technical error on your part (we have provided a link to a tutorial in order to join a meeting)
3) If you have provided incorrect email details
Refunds will only be provided due to a significant technical error by Blizard Physiotherapy Limited.
