Soft Tissue therapy
Celine Blizard
Celine multi tasks here at the clinic managing her time between her first passion of teaching Pilates, the Soft Tissue Clinic and the need to keep on top on the clinic books!
Celine qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 2002 and worked in high profile food manufacturing until the call of her first love became too great to ignore. She began practising Pilates herself back in 2008 following the birth of her daughter and after feeling the benefits for herself she was hooked on this uniquely precise and intelligent approach to exercise and body conditioning.
If you're used to having a sports massage or a deep tissue massage, those techniques are part of the wider spectrum of our Soft Tissue Therapy service.
Anyone can benefit from Soft Tissue Therapy, you don't have to be involved in sport! Soft Tissue Therapy will have a positive impact on your performance whether that's at work, at home or indeed in sport. As we lead busier but sometimes less active, and more stressful lives, we can take for granted the effect this has on our body and become more accepting of aches, pains and dysfunction. You absolutely do not have to put up with aches, pains and dysfunction!
Soft Tissue Therapy is influential in helping manage and reduce the impact that these aches, pains and dysfunctions have on our physical and mental well being. Improving mobility, body awareness (proprioception), sleep, reducing stress and anxiety, mitigating risk of injury, are just a few of the benefits.
Prior to your appointment you will be emailed a consultation form to complete online. This will allow you to provide details about what you would like to achieve from the soft tissue therapy session and also ask questions about your general health and lifestyle. This helps build up a holistic picture about why the areas of concern are troubling you.
